WHAT WE
BELIEVE

At God-Breathed Church, our faith is rooted in Scripture, centered on Jesus, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We hold to historic Christian beliefs while creating a welcoming environment for people from all backgrounds.

OUR STATEMENT
OF FAITH

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible is the inspired, God-breathed Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and life.

(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105)

GOD

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

JESUS CHRIST

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and reigns as Lord. Salvation is found in Him alone.

(John 1:1–14; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)

SALVATION

We believe salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ — not by works — and results in a transformed life.

(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10)

HEAVEN AND HELL

We believe in the reality of heaven and hell. Heaven is eternal life in the presence of God for those who place their faith in Jesus Christ, and hell is eternal separation from God for those who reject Him.

(John 14:1–3; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:11–15)

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in believers, empowering them to live holy lives, grow in faith, and boldly witness for Christ. We believe in the ongoing work and evidence of the Holy Spirit, including spiritual gifts such as praying in tongues, healing, prophecy, and other expressions consistent with Scripture.

(Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:7–11; Galatians 5:22–23)

BAPTISM

We believe baptism by immersion is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and an outward expression of an inward transformation.

(Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3–4)

THE CHURCH

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, live in community, and serve the world in love.

(Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 28:19–20)

OUR CORE VALUES

Disciple-Driven

We are committed to growing spiritually and helping others follow Jesus. (Luke 9:23; 2 Timothy 2:2)
